Home page of Dr. Antônio Carlos M. de Queiroz
Dr. Antônio Carlos Moreirão de Queiroz is Titular Professor at COPPE, Electrical Engineering Program, and at the Electronic and Computer Engineering Department of the Polytechnic School, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
He obtained the B. Sc in electronic engineering (1979) from UFRJ, and the M. Sc. (1984) and D. Sc. (1990), in electrical engineering, from COPPE/UFRJ.
His current interests are in energy harvesting using electrostatic generators, circuit theory, switched-current filter structures and analysis methods, techniques for the design of high-frequency continuous-time filters, approximation techniques for general-purpose filters, analysis and simulation techniques for electronic circuits, multiple resonance networks (generalizations of the Tesla coil), analog microelectronics, radiofrequency circuits, and history of science.
Many products of his software development and of his students can be obtained from this site:
Most of the programs are for Windows, and the current versions are compiled for 32 bits. Some old DOS programs are also available, but are not being maintained anymore.
Some recent papers are also available.
Materials from courses and theses at the university.
38th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (1995).
IEEE CAS Tour of South America (November 1998).
Links to other interests and materials (as electrostatic machines).
