Simulink Library

The Real-Time Windows Target I/O driver blocks allow you to select and connect specific analog channels and digital lines to your Simulink model through I/O driver blocks.

After you create a Simulink model, you can add an I/O block. This procedure adds and Analog Input block and uses the Simulink model rtwin_model.mdl as an example:

  1. In the Simulink window, and from the View menu, click Show Library Browser.
  1. The Simulink Library Browser opens.

  1. In the left column, double-click Real-Time Windows Target. Click and drag the Analog Input block to your Simulink model. Connect the Analog Input block to the Transfer Function block.
  1. Your Simulink model will look similar to the figure show below.
