Installing from the Web
We distribute the Real-Time Windows Target Version 2.2 as a single, self-extracting file. This file is not an update, but a complete product, and does not require you to install the Real-Time Windows Target Version 1.0 or 1.5. Also, this file includes the Real-Time Windows Target documentation as a PDF file.
After you get a valid Personal License Password (PLP), you can install the Real-Time Windows Target on your computer:
- In the Web browser window, enter the following address:
- On the right side of the page, click the link labeled Downloads. On the Downloads Web page, click the link labeled download products.
- The MATLAB Access Web page opens.
- Enter your last name and your MATLAB Access number. Click the Login button.
- The Downloads Web page opens.
- From the left list, select the Windows check box, and then click the Continue button. From the Select Your Products list, select the Real-Time Windows Target 2.2 check box, and then click the Continue button.
- On the next Web page, click the Real-Time Windows Target link. In the File Download dialog box, select Save this file to disk, and select the directory where you installed MATLAB.
- Your browser downloads the file
Real-Time_Windows_Target.exe
to your computer.
- Double-click the self-extracting file
Real-Time_Windows_Target.exe
.
- The install program copies extracted files to a temporary directory and starts the MATLAB installation program.
- Follow the instructions on each dialog box.
- After MATLAB finishes the installation, the install program deletes all of the files from the temporary directory.
The Real-Time Windows Target installation is now complete.
