Drive Starting
You can start the drive from a standstill by specifying null
initial conditions for all state variables in the powergui and also specifying [1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0]
as the initial conditions for the Asynchronous Machine block. In this example, the speed reference is stepped from 0 to 120 rad/s at t = 0.
The transient responses for the starting of the induction motor drive are shown in Figure 2-24.
Note that you can save the final system state vector by previously selecting the Workspace I/O --> Save to work space --> Final state checkbox in the Simulation parameters dialog.
