License Manager Tools

The most useful license administration tools available in $MATLAB/etc are listed below.

Description

lmboot
Start license daemons at boot time.

lmdebug
Generate diagnostic report, and optionally e-mail it to The MathWorks, for troubleshooting license manager problems.

lmdiag
Diagnose problems when a license cannot be checked out.

lmdown
Shut down all license daemons.

lmhostid
Display the hostid of the computer on which you are running.

lmstart
Start license daemons.

lmstat
Show status of all network licensing activities. See the script for a complete set of options.

Display version number of license manager.
