xPC Target

Custom GUI with Simulink, Dials, and Gauges

If you license the Dials & Gauges Blockset, you can use dials, gauges, and xPC Target interface blocks to create a user interface (UI) model in Simulink. This Simulink model runs in normal mode and in nonreal time. The xPC Target interface blocks connect this Simulink model to the target application, which runs in real time.

The Simulink Dials & Gauges Blockset interface includes the following functions:

• Signal acquisition -- Use Gauge blocks to visualize signal data.
• Parameter tuning -- Use Dial blocks to change model parameters.
