DOSLoader Mode Overview
With the DOSLoader
mode of operation, you first set up a boot device such as a floppy disk, flash disk, or a hard disk drive. This boot device must include DOS and modules from xPC Target Embedded Option. Once the kernel starts running, it awaits commands from the host computer and a target application that is downloaded from the host computer. The primary purpose of the DOSLoader
mode is to allow you to boot from devices other than the floppy drive.
