Each target library offers a block that performs a software reset of the appropriate board. Although Reset blocks are blocks, they do not require input; they do not provide output; and they do not need to be connected to any other block.
When you add a reset block to a model window, it provides single-click access to resetting your board. Click on the block in your model and your target processor returns to its original state, with the memory locations, registers, and other peripherals reset to their default values before you loaded or ran a program.
