Detecting Excessive Sample Rates
If your specified sample rate is too fast, the Real-Time Windows Target detects and reports this during real-time execution. Sampling rates exceeding 10 kHz can be achieved on Pentium computers. Once the model is running, the rtwho
command can be issued in the MATLAB command line to observe the system performance. As indicated, MATLAB performance decreases as the system becomes overloaded:
