Requirements Management Interface

Starting the Requirements Management Interface

Use this procedure to start the Requirements Management Interface. This is done prior to opening objects and adding requirements to the objects.

Starting from MATLAB Command Window

1. Start MATLAB.
2. Change current directory to $matlabroot\toolbox\reqmgt.
3. Edit the file $matlabroot\toolbox\reqmgt\reqmgropts.m to specify the OTHERS option for the Requirements Management Interface.
1. Type edit reqmgropts at the MATLAB prompt.

• The reqmgropts.m file opens in your editor.

2. Edit the reqsys line so it appears as follows.

   • 
             reqsys = 'OTHERS';
     

3. Save reqmgropts.m and close it.
4. At the MATLAB prompt, type

• rminav
  

1. The Navigator window opens.

   

Note    From here forward "Requirements Management Interface Navigator" will be referred to as "Navigator."

Starting from a Simulink or a Stateflow Model Window

Select Requirements management interface from the Tools menu.
