Introduction
Today, neural networks can solve problems of economic importance that could not be approached previously in any practical way. Some of the recent neural network applications are discussed in this chapter. See Chapter 1 for a list of many areas where neural networks already have been applied.

Application Scripts
The linear network applications are contained in scripts applin1 and applin2.
The Elman network amplitude detection application is contained in the script appelm1.
The character recognition application is in appcr1.
