Performing a Tradeoff Calibration
The basic procedure for performing tradeoff calibrations is as follows:
- Set up the variables and constants. (See Setting Up Your Variable Items.)
- Set up the model or models. (See Setting Up Your Models.)
- Set up the tradeoff calibration. (See Setting Up a Tradeoff Calibration.)
- Calibrate the normalizers. (See Calibrating the Normalizers.)
- Calibrate the tables. (See Calibrating Tables in a Tradeoff Calibration.)
- Export the normalizers, tables, and tradeoffs. (See Exporting Calibrations.)
You can also use regions to enhance your calibration. (See Using Regions.)

The normalizers, tables, and tradeoff form a hierarchy of nodes, each with its own view and toolbar.
