Introduction to Geographic Statistics and Navigation
The Mapping Toolbox provides a set of functions for applying mapping computations to geographic statistical analysis and navigation. The geographic statistics functions are necessary for proper analysis of geographical data as opposed to simple Cartesian (x-y) data. The navigation functions provide such useful navigational tasks as establishing position and planning routes or tracks.
