Display instrument object summary information

Syntax

• obj
  disp(obj)
  

Arguments

obj	An instrument object or an array of instrument objects.

Description

obj or disp(obj) displays summary information for obj.

Remarks

In addition to the syntax shown above, you can display summary information for obj by excluding the semicolon when

• Creating an instrument object
• Configuring property values using the dot notation

As shown below, you can also display summary information via the Workspace browser by right-clicking an instrument object, and selecting Explore -> Display Summary from the context menu.

Example

The following commands display summary information for the GPIB object g.
