Implementing Predesigned Filters
The DSP Blockset Filter Designs library provides several blocks that implement digital FIR and IIR filters in your models. Some of these blocks allow you to first design and analyze a filter, and then implement the filter, as described in Designing, Analyzing, and Implementing Filters. This section shows you how to use the blocks that let you skip the design and analysis step, and let you provide the filter coefficients directly.
The following are the primary blocks for implementing filters for which you already know the coefficients:
Note The DSP Blockset also provides blocks for implementing frequency-domain filters, time-varying filters, multirate filters (such as filter banks and filters for decimation and interpolation), and adaptive filters. For more information, see Topics Covered. |
