Writing to a File

The Triggered Write to File block writes data to a file whenever an input trigger signal has a rising edge. You can set up the block to write at every rising edge of the trigger, or at every kth rising edge of the trigger for a positive number k. The data can have an ASCII, integer, or floating-point format. If the destination file already exists, then this block overwrites it. For more details, see the reference page for the Triggered Write to File block.

For untriggered writing of MAT files, use Simulink's To File block.
