DSBSC AM Modulator Baseband

Modulate using double-sideband suppressed-carrier amplitude modulation

Library

Analog Baseband Modulation, in Modulation

Description

The DSBSC AM Modulator Baseband block modulates using double-sideband suppressed-carrier amplitude modulation. The output is a baseband representation of the modulated signal. The block accepts a real input signal and produces a complex output signal. The input may be continuous-time or discrete-time; the output sample time matches the input sample time. The input must be a sample-based scalar signal.

If the input is u(t) as a function of time t, then the output is

where is the Initial phase parameter.
