The ASIZ program
ASIZ is a switched-current and switched-capacitor circuit
analysis program. It computes transfer functions in
ratio-of-polynomials form in the z-domain, poles and zeros,
frequency responses, transient responses, frequency-domain
sensitivities, and output signal spectrum.
Four executable versions are available: the new Windows
version, the old DOS version, a somewhat faster DOS version
compiled with GNU C (djgpp), and a version for Sun workstations,
also compiled with GNU C and using the XView interface. All the
versions are complete (with minor differences in resources), and
work in the same way, with similar graphical interfaces.
The EdFil editor is included in all the versions. It provides
easy circuit entry in schematic form, requiring only a minimum of
information, typing, and care with the schematic layout.
The use of the ASIZ program is free for academic,
noncommercial purposes. For commercial use, please contact the
author.

The files are compressed in the "zip" format.
- Windows version 2.0i
(22/8/2015). The most recent version, and the only one currently
supported. Has the same functionality of the last DOS version, and some
additions.
- DOS version 1.6b. The last DOS
version (4/1999), including gain sensitivity discount in the
sensitivity analysis, transient analysis with arbitrary input read from
a file, and more examples. Updated in 2/2004.
- DOS batch-mode version (3/2004).
Identical to version 1.6b, but can be run in batch mode.
- DOS version 1.3a.
This is a well tested old version, kept here for verification, in the
case of some of the newer versions presenting some problem.
- DOS version 1.4d.
Computes direct signal feedthrough and group delay, and has a better
transient response plot.
- DOS C (djgpp V2) version.
Identical to version 1.3a, but faster and with support for larger
circuits. Updated in 2/2004.
- Sun Unix
version 1.2c. Identical to the PC version 1.3a. (Not available.)
- Sun Unix
version 1.3d. Almost identical to the PC version 1.4d. Requires X11
and Xview. (Not available.)
- Linux version
1.3d. Binary files for the ASIZ and EDFIL programs only. Requires
X11 and XView. The other files and examples are the same of the Sun
distribution above. (Not available.)
There is also a small FAQ (for the
old versions) with answers to common questions about ASIZ.

version
The DOS versions can be run under the program DosBox on modern versions
of Windows, under Linux, etc. Screen from the old DOS version.

Lamento informar que o Prof. Antonio Carlos Moreirão de Queiroz
faleceu há algum tempo.
Sei que esta página é visitada constantemente. Assim, gostaria de
saber se temos algum visitante (interessado) que seja da UFRJ. Se for,
